How We Supply Upstream and Downstream Projects

Sour service does not forgive a wrong alloy. We source from AVL-approved mills, with NACE MR0175 compliance demonstrated on the certificate and EN 10204 3.2 documentation travelling with the delivery.

Sour service does not forgive a wrong alloy, and a mill certificate is easy to edit. Those two facts govern everything about how we buy for energy projects. We source API-spec valves, seamless line pipe, OCTG, flanges and drilling consumables from mills and foundries that already hold the approved vendor status your project requires - which in practice defines the available supply base long before commercial negotiation begins. NACE MR0175 compliance is demonstrated on the certificate with the hardness results behind it, not asserted in a datasheet. Non-destructive and hydrostatic testing is witnessed, and EN 10204 3.2 certification, countersigned by an independent inspector, travels with the delivery so traceability holds back to the heat number.

Risk Factors

Critical Procurement Challenges in Oil & Gas

Sour service does not forgive a wrong alloy. Add falsified mill certificates, forging lead times measured in months, and approved vendor lists that take longer to enter than the project allows.

Sour Service Embrittlement Failures

Materials failing NACE MR0175 compliance, leading to sulfide stress cracking and catastrophic pipeline ruptures under sour H2S conditions.

Traceability & Mill Test Fraud

Secondary steel line pipes stamped with forged API monograms that fail hydrostatic pressure testing under field conditions.

Lengthy Forging & Valve Lead Times

Specialized duplex and alloy valves carrying 40 to 60 week delivery lead times that threaten critical turnaround schedules.

Strict ADNOC / Saudi Aramco AVL Approvals

Inability of unvetted overseas manufacturers to pass complex technical vendor registration and audit requirements.

Execution Framework

The Oil & Gas Sourcing Lifecycle

Datasheet and MTO audit, allocation to AVL-approved mills, non-destructive and hydro-testing, then EN 10204 3.2 certification travelling with the delivery.

01

Datasheet & MTO Engineering Audit

We review engineering piping material specifications (PMS), Material Take-Offs (MTO), pressure classes, and NACE sour service requirements.

02

AVL-Approved Mill & Foundry Allocation

We contract with foundries holding active API monogram licenses and pre-approvals on regional oil major vendor rosters.

03

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Hydro-Testing

Independent third-party inspectors witness hydrostatic shell testing, seat leakage tests, ultrasonic testing (UT), and positive material identification (PMI).

04

EN 10204 3.2 Certification & Delivery

Cargo is released only upon sign-off of the full 3.2 inspection dossier, followed by specialized sea/air logistics to the supply base.

Technical FAQ

Oil & Gas Sourcing FAQ

NACE MR0175 compliance, AVL status, third-party NDT, and 3.2 certification.

Do you supply valves and piping compliant with NACE MR0175 for sour service?

Yes. All valves, fittings, and line pipe intended for sour gas and oil applications are certified compliant with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156. Materials undergo hardness testing (maximum 22 HRC), sulfide stress cracking (SSC) testing, and hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) testing.

Can you provide EN 10204 Type 3.2 inspection certificates?

Yes. For critical energy applications, we arrange third-party inspection agencies (such as Lloyd's Register, DNV, TÜV, or Bureau Veritas) to validate the manufacturing process, witness chemical and physical tests, and countersign the EN 10204 3.2 material certificate.

How do you verify genuine API monogram licensing?

We verify the manufacturer's active license number directly against the official American Petroleum Institute (API) Composite List, confirming that the specific facility, product category, and license expiration are valid.

Can you source emergency shutdown replacement components on expedited timelines?

Yes. Through our international network of master distributors and certified forging mills in Europe and Asia, we can locate surplus stock and arrange express air charter delivery for urgent turnaround shutdowns.
